Micaela Hines, MSN, FNP-BC
Micaela Hines, NP is a Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Duke University in Durham, NC. Following her graduation she worked as an RN in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of various hospitals around the country. She returned to Duke University to complete her NP training and achieved a Masters of Science in Nursing. She is board certified through the ANCC. Micaela trained in dermatology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in NYC. She worked directly under the director of the Department of Cutaneous Oncology, who was instrumental in the development of her dermatology knowledge and skill.
Micaela's interest include skin cancer detection and prevention, acne, hair loss, cutaneous lymphomas as well as cosmetic treatments. During appointments she utilizes dermoscopy to aid in prompt and accurate diagnosis. Her favorite cosmetic treatments include Botox for wrinkle reduction, cosmetic lasers and microneedling. Micaela believes in a holistic and detail oriented approach to dermatological conditions. She is currently accepting new patients. |
